Auto Close Ticket

Manage abandoned tickets, and set rules for tickets over time, and those tickets will be closed automatically after a certain period

How often have you had to manually cancel tickets that a user has neglected to respond to after going through your list of open tickets? While you wait for a response, you could want to remind them of the ticket. After a certain number of days, close the ticket if the customer still doesn’t respond.

With the help of this extension, you can set a rule to automatically close open tickets from non-responding customers. As an example, the ticket automatically closes if you respond to a customer’s ticket and they don’t. When a response is not provided, the ability to automatically close tickets would help clean up the mess and encourage users to assist us in resolving their issues.

Set The Number Of Days For The Tickets To Close Automatically
An admin will insert the number of days after which a ticket should be closed that is not responded to by the user. Once you have activated the ticket auto-close add-on, this setting will be available in the ticket settings under the configurations.
Send Warning Emails
The most frequent condition is an “in-process” ticket, in which the user has not responded but the agent has. However, using our custom status add-on you can also send warning emails as it provides you complete control over warning emails. For example, as you wait for their response, you may want to remind them about the ticket. Close the ticket after x number of days if the consumer does not respond even after a reminder.
This functionality of the add-on is coming soon!
